This Disclaimer and these Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of buildgoodhope.com (the "Site"), operated by Good Hope Development, LLC DBA Good Hope Homes ("Good Hope Homes," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Disclaimer
The Site gives general information about our homes, plans, and communities. Please keep the following in mind before relying on it.
Plans, pricing, and availability. Floor plans, elevations, renderings, square footage, features, finishes, options, lot premiums, pricing, availability, completion dates, and community information shown on the Site are for general information only and are subject to change or discontinuation at any time without notice. Variations may occur as a result of design refinements, materials availability, lot conditions, regulatory requirements, or builder discretion. Square footage figures are approximate and measured to a consistent methodology that may differ from county tax records. Nothing on the Site constitutes an offer to sell or a binding price; pricing and terms are established only in a written purchase agreement or construction contract signed by both parties. That signed agreement, and the written warranty for your home, control over anything on the Site.
Drawings, colors, and photos. Floor plans, elevations, and renderings are illustrations, not construction documents. The colors, materials, furniture, finishes, and optional features shown on them are examples, may not be included in the base price, and may differ from any particular home. Photographs may show optional features, upgrades, landscaping, or staging not included in the base price, and may show a different home built from the same plan. Photographs may also be digitally edited — for example, to remove cars, debris, or utility lines, or to even out the color of a lawn — so they may not show a home or lot exactly as it looks today. We encourage you to visit in person.
Lots and maps. Lot sizes, acreage, maps, and site plans are approximate and are not surveys. The recorded plat and a current survey control.
Schools, HOAs, and taxes. School assignments are set by the school district and can change; confirm them with the district. Where a community has a homeowners association or recorded covenants, those documents set any dues, rules, and amenities. Property taxes are set by the county. Please verify these details before you buy.
Listing sites. Information about our homes on Zillow, the MLS, and other third-party sites — including price estimates and tax and school data — comes from those sites, not from Good Hope Homes. If something there differs from what we tell you, ask us.
The chat assistant. The chat assistant on the Site uses artificial intelligence and can make mistakes. Its answers are general information only. They are not a quote, an offer, or a promise, and they do not change anything stated elsewhere on the Site or in a written agreement.
Not professional advice. Nothing on the Site or from the chat assistant is legal, tax, financial, or lending advice. You are free to choose your own lender, closing attorney, and title company.
Wire fraud warning. When you buy a finished home from us, Good Hope Homes will never email or text you wiring instructions for your closing. Closing funds are handled through your closing attorney — before wiring any money, call your closing attorney at a phone number you have looked up yourself. If you are building a home with us, confirm any payment instructions by calling us at the phone number in your signed contract — never a number from the email itself — before you send money.
No warranty through the Site. The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no representation or warranty — express or implied — about the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any information on the Site. Warranty coverage on homes built by Good Hope Homes is described separately in the written warranty provided at closing; nothing on this Site modifies that warranty.
Use of the site
You may view, browse, and print pages from the Site for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
- Copy, reproduce, republish, or redistribute Site content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
- Use automated tools (scrapers, crawlers, bots) to harvest content, except for well-behaved indexing by recognized search engines.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, its servers, or any related systems.
- Interfere with the operation of the Site or with another user's enjoyment of it.
- Submit information you know to be false, misleading, or that you do not have the right to share.
Information and files you send us
When you send us information or files through the Site (for example, photos, surveys, plats, or other documents), you confirm that you have the right to share them, and you allow us to use them to review and respond to your request. Telling us about a lot or a parcel is not an offer to buy it and does not make Good Hope Homes your agent. We may decline any property or project.
Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, photography, architectural renderings, elevations, floor plans, logos, and trade names — is owned by Good Hope Homes or used with permission and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. The Good Hope Development and Good Hope Homes names and logos are trademarks of Good Hope Development, LLC.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Good Hope Homes and its members, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Site. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites (for example, lenders, suppliers, or social networks). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices.
Equal Housing Opportunity
Good Hope Homes is an Equal Housing Opportunity builder. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, or national origin in the sale, rental, or financing of homes, in accordance with the Fair Housing Act and applicable state law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Forsyth County, Georgia, or in the federal court that serves Forsyth County (the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia), and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a part of these Terms, that is not a waiver of it. These Terms cover only your use of the Site; they don't change any purchase agreement, construction contract, or warranty you sign with us.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
